Letea village (404 inhabitants and 155 households) - is located on the arm of sand with the same name (fishing village, surrounded by small agricultural areas, especially cultivated with vineyards and corn), located south of the village Periprava (on Arm Chile), Sand Nature Reserve is nearby Letea - Forest - Letea monument, which is like a tropical forest with oaks mixed with liana, elms, poplars which form a guarded nature reserve, where they live falcons, owls, wild ducks and white-tailed eagles, lynx, snakes.

Forest (which covers an area of about 2285 hectares) is surrounded by sand dunes where you can find: tortoises, lizards and about 1800 species of insects.
