II. A. 4. Connecting between Comunites Tulcea - Sulina

Local access is shipping, but also by means of land transport on these road

a.) DC2: Sulina - Cardon - Rosetti, paved road in poor state total length of 16 km, which 8 km are on Rosetti commune administrative territory;

b.) DC3: Rosetti - Periprava, length of 15.0 km. Is the ground (sand) in very bad condition.

Contact with Tulcea it is made with passenger ships to Perisprava or Sulina;

c.)DC4: Letea - Rosetti - 7.0 km.Sectorul Sfistofca length of road between Rosetti Letea and a length of 4.0 km was paved in 2006 with funds financed through the Rural Development Programme (RDP), and Division of Rosetti and Sfistofca length of 3.0 km is the land in very bad condition.

Street network of village roads totaling 20.2 km of land in very bad condition, of which 4.8 km in area Rosetti, in Letea 5.3 km, 7.2 km in Periprava, 2.6 km in Sfistofca and 0,3km in Cardon Village.

d.)DJ222D continues to place Cardon (that can be reached only by water) until Rosetti and hence on DC4, connecting road to Sfistofca and Letea and the DC3 with Periprava destination.

2. Connection with Tulcea is made with passenger ships to Periprava or Sulina, or rapid transport with "arrow" on the Sulina channel. From Bucharest (Romania's capital) in Tulcea may be transported in the following ways:

- Air Bucharest - Tulcea (approximately 45 minutes)

- on bus-railway Bucharest - Tulcea Medgidia (270 km),

- with other means of trasnport from Bucharest - Sun Highway( Autostrada Soarelui)

Slobozia – A2 – Tulcea(270 km).

Connection between Tulcea and Sulina or Periprava can only be through such shipping:

- Passenger ships (a longer route but attractive): Tulcea - Periprava and back (5 h), Tulcea - Sulina and return (3 h),

-fast transport with "SAGEATA" route Tulcea - Sulina and return, Sulina channel.
